Ionia Sentinel Standard, 29 Jun 1971

Mrs. Bernice S. Allen, 68, of Belding, died Monday at Belding Christian Nursing
home.  She was born in Montcalm county, May 5, 1903, the daughter of Melvin and
Erdina Johnson.

Surviving are two sons, Robert and Raymond Helrigel of Hastings; four
grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Madge Slawson of Fenton.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 pm at Huffman funeral home in
Belding.  Interment will be at Findlay cemetery at Ada.
