Hastings Reminder - May 10, 2013

Lake Odessa, MI- Faith Allen, age 21, of Lake Odessa, passed away Tuesday, May 
14, 2013 at Spectrum's Butterworth Campus.

Faith was born September 13, 1991 in Grand Rapids, to Cindy Allen and Dominick 
Ritchie. She was a 2010 graduate of Lakewood High School. Faith was very 
athletic and loved to hunt and fish. Her beauty and sense of humor will be 
dearly missed by all who knew her.

As her last act of kindness, Faith donated her organs to save others.

She leaves behind daughter, Brooklyn McElhaney; mother, Cindy Allen; father, 
Dominick (Michele) Ritchie; brother, Chase Ritchie; sister, Cybil Ritchie; 
grandmothers, Linda Allen and Diane Henney; great-grandparents, Roger (Alona) 
Allen; many close aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and special dogs Lily and 
Tupper. 

Preceding her in death are Grandpa Jim Allen, Uncle Tom Allen, and great-
grandparents Pete (Neva) Smelker.

Visitation for Faith will be held Sunday, May 19, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the 
Koops Funeral Chapel, 935 4th Ave., Lake Odessa, MI 48849.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Kilpatrick 
UB Church, 10005 E. Barnum Rd., Woodland, MI 48897.

In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the family to help with expenses and 
to start a fund for Brooklyn.
