Daily Sentinel - Thursday, March 30, 1911

The funeral for Bert Allen, whose death occurred in Grand Rapids yesterday, 
will be conducted from the cathedral there at nine o'clock Friday morning. The 
remains will be brought to Ionia on the 3:30 train and buried in the Catholic 
cemetery here.

The pall bearers for the funeral of Bert Allen will be Fred Longe, Harry 
McGowan, Fred T. Chapman, Jas. Scully, Anthony Scully and E.F. Gallagher. The 
remains will arrive in Ionia at 3:30 Friday , and be taken to Mt. Olivet 
cemetery for burial.
