                          LEWIS W. ALLEN

Funeral services for a former Ionia resident, Lewis W.Allen, 81 of Royal Oak, 
were conducted Friday at 10:30 a.m at the St.Mary's Catholic Church of Royal 
Oak. He died Tuesday.

Mr.Allen at one time operated an insurance agency in Ionia and Battle Creek.He 
was past Grand Knight of the Ionia council of Knights of Columbus and past 
exalted ruler of the Ionia Elks Lodge.

He is survived by three daughters and several grandchildren.

His wife Laura died September 17, 1974.

Relatives in the Ionia area are cousins, Mrs.Pauline Ingram and Mrs.Carl 
Gazelle.
