   Excerpts from Greenville Obituary

      ETTA MAY (WALDRON) ALLEN

Died Monday, November 10, 2025-age 89  of Belding.
Born December 1, 1935 in Mulliken, daughter of Homer & Pearly (Sackett) Waldron.
Etta went to school from 1st through 8th grade, then transferred to & graduated 
from Charlotte Schools. 
Married Ernest Allen on her family homestead on July 29, 1955, enjoyed over 58 
years of marriage before his death in 2008.
When little, she helped on the family farm, she loved to quilt, taught 
children's church for many years, enjoyed researching her family genealogy & 
worked at Amway  for over 30 years before retirement in 1998.
Survived by her children, Bill (Cheryl) Allen, Linda Howorth, Connie (Alan) 
Martin,Shirley Heaton, Jon Allen (Connie Clute), Karen (Dave) Bowen, 14 
grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild & many other 
extended family.
Preceded in death by her parents, three sisters;Ila Thomas, Genevia Russell, 
Beulah Spicer, a brother; Orval Waldron, her husband Ernest, daughter; Joyce & a 
son-in-law; Alan Heaton. 
Funeral service will be on Monday, November 17 at 11am, at Johnson Feuerstein 
Funeral Home with Rev.Paul Leslie officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday, from 1pm-3p.m.,as well as one hour prior to the 
funeral on Monday.
In keeping with Etta's passion  for children & her love of Christ, memorial 
contributions may be directed to Lincoln Lake Baptist Camp Scholarship Fund, to 
help underprivileged children to Bible Camp.
