Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, 2 & 5 Oct 1950

William P. Allen, 64, died Sunday morning at his home at 170 East Adams street
at 9:30 a.m.  He had been ill for eight months.  He was born May 16, 1886.  A
day laborer, he worked for several years for Ionia city.

Surviving are his wife Minnie T.; two step-daughters, Stella Engman of Maryland
and Mrs. Lucille Burton of Ionia; and a step-son John Gibson of Ionia.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at Myers funeral home.  Dr.
Paul Stewart will officiate.  Interment will be in Balcom cemetery.

Services for William P. Allen, 64, were held at the Myers funeral home at 3:30
p.m. Tuesday.  Dr. Paul Stewart officiated.  Interment was in Balcom cemetery.

Mr. Allen died at his home at 170 East Adams street Sunday morning.

Bearers were Clarence Randall, Clarence Weyman, Ernest Rider, Verner VanHouten,
L. J. Allen and I. J. Buckley.
