ARTHUR ALLERDING DIED SATURDAY

Arthur Allerding, 75, of Hastings, died unexpectedly Saturday at his home and 
death was attributed to a heart ailment. He was a retired carpenter and 
contractor and had worked at the trade for more than 50 years. A native of 
Carlton township, he spent most of his life in Barry County and was a former 
Woodland resident, but had resided in Hastings for the past 11 years. 

He was a member of the Woodland F and AM and Woodland Knights of Pythias Lodges.

Surviving are his wife, the former Bessie Fuller; two sons, Arthur, Jr. and 
Carl, both of Hastings, a step sister, Mrs. Robert Owen of Grand Haven and seven 
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 at the Leonard Funeral Home at Hastings 
with burial in Woodland Memorial Cemetery.
