RICHARD ALMY, 88
Richard V. Almy, age 88, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018.

He was born on July 29, 1929, the son of Vene and Mildred (Morse) Almy. Dick enjoyed
making bird houses and wind chimes and he retired from Portland Products after many
years of service.

Surviving Dick are his children, Lynn (Douglas) Baker, Randy (Sherry) Almy, Richard
Almy Jr., and Deborah DePue; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren; and siblings,
Thomas (Jeanie) Almy, Ruth Bennett, and Barbara Parker. Dick is preceded in death by his
beloved wife, Rose Mary; son, Douglas; infant twin children, Donna and Donald; sister, Doris
Bills; and brothers-in-law, Leslie Parker, Jr., and Jerry Bennett.

The funeral will be conducted by Pastor Johnathon Bratt-Carle at the Lyons-Muir
Church at noon Monday, June 25, 2018. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the
time of the service on Monday. Interment will be at Portland Cemetery after the luncheon at
