Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. at the home, 611 North Jackson street, and 2 o’clock at the Boynton funeral chapel by Dr. M W. Duffey. Those wishing to view the remains may do so at the chapel. Burial will be in Highland Park cemetery. He was born in Canada but had lived for 40 years in Ionia and had been employed by the city for a long time. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church and the Modern Woodmen of America. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Mae Alspaugh, children, Cassie Latimer, Ionia, Robert of Eaton Rapids, Ann Alspaugh, Ann Arbor; Earl of Ionia, Marvin, Grand Rapids, Alice Ameils, Nebraska; Lloyd of Ionia and Isabelle McNeilly, of Ionia and nine grandchildren.
