Alvord were removed from Brown’s morgue to his home at 8 last evening. His body was quite free from disfigurement, and it is the opinion of most railroad men that his death was from suffocation. He was aged 31 years, was born at Leonidas, Mich., and leaves a much beloved wife and two small children, to whom he was greatly attached. He was peculiarly of domestic temperament, and in popularly good standing with his associate workmen and all who knew him. Mrs. Alvord’s father, Mr. Wilson, arrived today from Edmore, overland. Funeral on Friday at 2 p.m., Rev. C. E. Jameson, officiating. The remains will be placed in the Wager vault until such time as they may be taken to Mecosta for interment.
