Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 6 Aug 1948

Funeral services for Mrs. Amelia Ammon, 74, wife of Frank Ammon, who died at 
the Ionia convalescent home Monday morning after being a patient there for 
three weeks, were held from Boynton’s funeral home Thursday afternoon at 2:00 
o’clock.  The Rev. George Neiman of Woodland officiated.  Burial was at the 
Highland Park mausoleum.  Her bearers were Louis Speckin, Oswald Kosbar, Guy 
Edington, and Karl Zanders.

Out-of-town relatives attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. Russell Ammon, 
Miss Jeannine Ammon and Mrs. Fred Drouin of Flint; Mr. and Mrs. Jack Hamm, Miss 
Faye Wagner, Fred Tanner, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Jones, and Mrs. Julia Kirsheman 
of Grand Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. Perry Daniels, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Eitnier and Mrs. 
Kenneth May and two children, Marilyn and Patricia, of Lansing; Mr. and Mrs. 
Clarence Ammon and Harry Ammon of Holt; Leonard Warren of Palo; and Mrs. Maggie 
Ammon and William Ammon of Muir.
