Ionia Sentinel - Thursday, Aug. 22, 1895

John Ammon, aged 58 years, died at his home on North Jefferson street, Tuesday, 
at 2 o'clock of brain fever. The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. 
Sucop, from the German Lutheran church tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. 
Interment in Highland park. Deceased has been a resident of Ionia for over 20 
years. He leaves a wife and seven children.
