Funeral services for Mrs. John Ammon, 70, of Delhi township near Holt were held
Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Logan funeral home in Holt.  The Rev. Wilson M.
Tennant of the Brotherhood Temple Methodist church officiated.  Interment was in
Maple Ridge cemetery, Delhi township.  Mrs. Ammon died Thursday at her home.

She was born in Ionia county, Dec. 27, 1879, the former Josephine Schnell.  She
married John Ammon in Ionia April 20, 1898.  For the past 46 years they had
lived in Delhi township.  They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary last
April.  She was a member of the Holt Rebekah lodge, and the Holt Methodist
church home Missionary society.

She leaves besides her husband; two sons, Clarence of Lansing and Harry of Holt;
four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
