Ionia Sentinel Standard, 19 Jun 1952

William “Bill” Ammon, 85, died at the Eckert Convalescent Home Wednesday.  He
was born on October 24, 1866, in Germany, and came to Ionia with his parents
when he was six years of age.  He lived on the family farm on Star Route for 6
years.  The past six years he has lived in Muir.

Surviving are two brothers, Robert, of Ionia, and John, of Holt.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday from the Myers funeral home. 
Interment will be in Highland Park cemetery.
