Ionia County News, 5 Jun 1952

Sophia Anderson, 88, died suddenly at 11:00 o’clock, Friday morning, May 23, at 
the Ammon Lindley home, 423 King St., where she had lived for several years.  
She was born in Ionia and had spent all of her life in the city, living 82 
years in her King Street home.

She was a life member of Queen Esther Chapter, O.E.S., and of Beatrice Rebekah 
lodge, Ionia.

Rev. Howard A. Smith officiated at the funeral service held Monday afternoon 
from Myers Funeral Home.  O.E.S. and Rebekah members attended in a group.  
Bearers were Viggo Nielsen, Blaine Laden, Harold Schroeder and Glenn Piper.
