The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, June 9, 1969
Dorr Anderson of St. Johns, former manager of Ionia Kroger store, died 
Saturday night in Houston, Texas.  He had gone to Houston about a month ago 
for heart surgery.  Since leaving Ionia in the mid thirties he has owned and 
operated the Shopping Basket in St. Johns.

He is survived by his father in Washington state, wife Margaret of St. Johns; 
daughters, Mrs. June Carey of Niles and Mrs. Kay Tiedt of Ithaca; sons, Martin 
of Oregon and Richard, who was associated with his father in the store, and 
ten grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements are not complete.
