The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, April 9, 1930

Funeral services for a former Ionian, Ernest S. Anderson, of Detroit, who died 
there Sunday, were held in Detroit Tuesday afternoon and from the Bradley 
funeral home Wednesday afternoon.  Rev. Martin Swanson, of Detroit, 
officiated.  Interment took place in Highland Park cemetery.  Bearers were 
Frank Witrtz, W. L. Amphlett, Axel Peterson, John Lind, E. Hillstrom, and 
Robert Wikstrom. 


Mr. Anderson leaves his widow, Mary A. Anderson; three sisters, Mrs. Arthur 
Robbins, of San Gabriel, Cal.; Mrs. Axel Peterson of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. 
Clara Egelin, of Sweden; a brother, Charles of Sweden; three nieces, Mrs. 
Harvey C. Cochrane and Miss Mary Louise Anderson of Lansing; Miss Ernestine 
Pierson, of Grand Rapids; a nephew,, Oscar Pierson, Grand Rapids; a sister-in-
law, Mrs. Emily Anderson of Ionia, and several nieces and nephews in Sweden.
