Ionia Sentinel Standard, 7 Mar 1931

Mrs. Elva Anderson, formerly of Ionia and a native of Easton, died at the home
of her daughter, Mrs. Bruce Croskery, in Frankfort, Friday afternoon.  The body
will arrive in Ionia Sunday and be taken to Stebbins funeral home, where
services will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  Interment will be in
Easton Cemetery.

Mrs. Anderson was born in Easton about 62 years ago and until she went Frankfort
with her daughter about 18 months ago she had lived in Ionia county, a part of
the time at Orleans.  Early last fall while visiting in McBrides, she suffered a
stroke and at the end of four weeks was taken to the home of her daughter, where
she had been an invalid since.  Two weeks ago she was taken with another stroke
and failed rapidly after.  Her daughter is her only surviving relative.
