Anderson, 73, formerly of Belding, passed away Friday, April 20, 2007. The daughter of Lloyd and Mildred Doddington Hodges, she was born July 14, 1933, at her family’s home in Smyrna. She grew up in Smyrna and graduated from Belding schools. On November 9, 1957 she married Calvin C. Anderson. A devoted wife and mother, she enjoyed doing crafts with her children, playing golf, bowling and spending time at her son’s golf course. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Gladys; and her daughter, Beth. She is survived by her husband, Cal; son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Cori Anderson of Belding and their children, Zoe and Mason; daughter and son-in-law, Suzie and Howard Rohnert of Nampa, Idaho, and their children, Christian, Ian and Joshua; stepsons, Greg and Percy Anderson of Charlotte and their families, Phil and Karen Anderson of Greenville and their families; brothers, Dana and Mary Jane Hodges of Belding, Wally and Faye Hodges of Allendale; and nieces and nephews. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to be used to honor her memory in a living memorial or to Alvah N. Belding Memorial Library.
