Bruce Alan Anderson, 71, of Muir passed away March 16, 2012 in Ionia. He was 
born Sept. 19, 1940 in Shelby, the son of Edward and Minnie (Porter) Anderson.

Bruce married Barbara Blasick in 1966. She preceded him in death in 1977. He 
went on to marry Lois. He worded for GM in skilled trades until retiring in 
1988. Bruce loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and riding ATVs.

Bruce is survived by his daughters, Dana Anderson of Ionia and Julie Anderson 
of Muir; brothers, Gordon (Dorothy) Anderson of Shelby, Delbert (Marilyn) 
Anderson of Whitehall and Phil (Laura) Anderson of Montague; and grandchildren, 
Alyssa Dewitt of Grand Raids, Megan Dewitt of Ionia and Wyatt Witzel of Muir.

He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Lake funeral Home in Ionia 
with Pastor John Prominski officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday from 
10 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
