The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, October 19, 1972
Funeral services for Vern E. Anderson, 79, will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Myers-
Roetman funeral home.  Fred G. Buckhalter, reader for Christian Science 
society, will conduct services.  Interment will be at Balcom cemetery.

Mr. Anderson, who lived at 174 Adams, died Wednesday morning at Ionia Manor.  
He was born April 22, 1889 in Indiana, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel 
Anderson.  He was a self employed roofer.  Surviving are his wife, Geneva 
Anderson, and a son, Holden, both of Tampa, Florida.; sister, Mrs. Ruth Hall 
of Wolcottville, Indiana.
