                               LAURA ANDERSON

IONIA-Laura Anderson, 60, of 810 W.Washington, Ionia, died Aug. 18 at the Kent 
Community Hospital.

She was a 30 year resident of Ionia County.

She was a registered nurse for many years at Ionia County Memorial Hospital. 
After her retirement, she was active in the Ionia Hospice and many church 
activities.

She was preceded in death by hr husband, Earl (Andy) Anderson, and a 
brother,Kenneth Blackford of Wyoming.

Surviving are one daughter, Theresa Simmons of Ionia; one grandson, Peter 
Simmons of Stevensville; and one brother, Carl Blackford of Mt.Clemens.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m at the SS.Peter & Paul Catholic 
Church.

Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Manistee on Friday at 4 p.m.

The family will be a the funeral home Wednesday and Thursday from 3 to 5 pm. and 
from 7 to 9 p.m. at Montgomery-Leddick Funeral Home.

A Memorial, the Laura Anderson RN Memorial Scholarship Fund, has been 
established in care of the funeral home.
