                                GOLDIE E. ANDERSON

Mrs.Goldie E.Anderson, 74, of route three, Belding died Friday at United 
Memorial Hospital in Greenville following an illness of four years.

She was born May 13, 1893 in Solon Township, Kent County. She married Joseph 
Anderson November 4, 1916. For the past 32 years, they have lived in the Belding 
area.

Surviving are her husband, Joseph; four daughters,Mrs.Arden (Vivian) Barrett of 
Gowen, Mrs.Russell (Jane) Jensen of Greenville, Mrs.Charles (Betty) Smith of 
Grand Rapids, and Mrs.Melvin (Marjorie) Taylor of Three Rivers; two sons, Joe W. 
Anderson of Comstock Park and William E.Anderson of Greenville; two sisters, 
Mrs.Paul (Sadie) Burch of Rockford and Mrs.Thomas (Esther) Stinson of Grand 
Rapids; one bother Elton (Pat) Smith of Morley; 11 grandchildren and four great-
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from the Fitzjohn-Courser Funeral 
Home. Reverend Wilford D.Wood officiated. Interment was in Otisco township 
cemetery in Ionia County.

Pallbearers were James McGuire, Dale Potter, Michael Smith, Richard Taylor, 
Gregory M.Taylor and Roger Moore.
