          ANDERSON

Elva Jean Anderson, age 79, of Saranac passed away December 18, 2024. She was 
born September 19, 1945, in Belding, the daughter of Gene Judson and Emma Dell 
(Weeks) Lee. Elva went to Saranac Community Schools graduating with Class of 
1963. She married Eugene G.Anderson June 27, 1964, he preceded her in death 
March 22, 2015.

Elva was a well-known seamstress taking care of many with her talent.She worked 
at McDonalds in Lowell from 1990-1995, Elva loved gardening and canning and 
going fishing at Long Lake. She especially enjoyed going to the family cottage 
in Cheboygan.

Surviving Elva are her sons, Brian Anderson of Jenison and Chris 
(Susanne)Anderson of Saranac. Grandchildren, Scott (Victoria)Anderson of 
Saranac, Samantha Benner and Kyle Pulcifer of Saranac and Sydney Benner and Cody 
Smith of St.Johns. Great-grandsons,Conner Bartosh, Kai Bartosh and Kane Bristol. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Duane Lee.

Funeral services will be at the Clarksville Bible Church Saturday, December 21, 
at 11:00 a.m with Pastor Tim Bateman officiating. Visitation will be on Friday 
4-6 pm. at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac. Special thanks to West Michigan 
Hospice and their amazing team for going above and beyond caring for Elva.In 
lieu of flowers those wishing may make memorial contributions to West Michigan
