The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, January 21, 1964
Funeral services for Carl H. Anderson, Lyons-Muir Community school 
superintendent, were Friday at 8 p.m. at the Lyons Methodist church with Rev. 
Gerald Hedlund, pastor of the church officiating.  Mrs. Milo B. White of Muir 
was the organist.

Bearers wers members of the school board, R. G. Kirgis, Clifton Miller, James 
Struble, Norman Wakefield, Lyle Bissell, Harold Rowland, and Clare Confer.  
The faculty of the school served as honorary bearers.

Services for Mr. Anderson were also held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Lake City 
Methodist church, with Rev. Gerald Hudlund assisted by Rev. Wirth Tennant of 
Lake City officiating.  The organist was Mrs. Geraldine Lerg and the soloist 
was James Bartholomew.  Temporary burial was in Maple Hill cemetery, Cadillac.
