She was born March 3, 1941 in Lansing to Carl and Virginia (Ruggles) Clark. Sharon was a loving mother and grandmother, with her life made very rich by caring for her family. She truly had a "storybook childhood," going to school in a one room school house, growing up on a farm, and living the country life with her close-knit family and friends. She still remained in contact with her friends from high school. Sharon was a warrior...strong, independent, and with a strong faith in God, which helped her greatly through her illness. When she was diagnosed with cancer, her faith helped her to be at peace and accept what the future held for her. Sharon was a devoted wife of 50 years to her husband Merlin "Andy" Anderson, who died five years ago. She worked for years as an accountant for AE Hoover, and later helped start Charlotte Anodizing as their accountant. Sharon is survived by daughter, Tina (Louis Ernest) Otter; son Donald (Rhea) Anderson; and brother, Dale Clark, many children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband "Andy" Anderson, and brother Loren Clark. Memorial Services are planned for Saturday, December 17, 12 noon at Pray Funeral Home with Rev. Kathy Smith officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, December 16, 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Interment will follow in the spring in Danby Cemetery. The family encourages friends to bring their favorite photo of Sharon, or post it on Sharon's tribute page. If desired, the family suggests memorial contributions to Eaton Community Palliative Care. Friends and family are encouraged to share memories of Sharon on her tribute page at www.PrayFuneral.com. The family is in the care of Pray Funeral Home, Charlotte. ----- Burial at Danby Cemetery File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/mi/ionia/obits/a/anderson8672gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/mifiles/ File size: 2.4 Kb
