Anderson, 85, of 141 West Lytle street, was found dead at her residence from an apparent stroke. She was born in December in 1888, the daughter of Hans and Bodil Carlson Neilson. She attended school sin Denmark and came to the U. S. and directly to Ionia. She was married to George Anderson and lived in Ionia for her entire life. He had been a custodian at Ionia library for 30 years before his death July 16, 1961. She continued to reside in Ionia. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1959. She attended First Christian church and was a member of Ionia Garden club and member of Blue Star Mothers. She is survived by four sons, Bert from Passadina, Calif.; Russell from Wyoming; Wayne from Cadillac, and Gordon of Kalamazoo, three daughters, Mrs. Clinton Sprague of Ionia, Mrs. Donald Pollen of Tucson, Ariz.; and Mrs. Alfred Palmer of rural Orleans; one brother, living in Denmark, 26 grandchildren.
