He had been a patient there for 10 years. He was the son of Henry and Sarah Andres and was born in Keene township January 18, 1888. He had lived in the vicinity of Belding his entire life. Mr. Andres is survived by his wife, the former Josephine Krupp, to whom he was married April 24, 1912. Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Mary Jane Ciganik, at home; one son, Harold, of Cooks Corners, and four grandchildren; also five sisters, Louise and Julia of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Mary Kneiper of New Lathrop, Mrs. Anna Terry of Hollywood, Calif., and Sister Mary Julia of Detroit, and three brothers, Henry of Oakland, Calif., and Michael and Peter of R.R.2. He was a member of St. Mary’s church, Miriam, and the rosary was recited at the home on Tuesday evening at 8:30. The remains were at the Fales-Huffman Funeral home until Tuesday noon and were then taken to the home southeast of the city. Pallbearers were Edwin Andres, Gerald Perry, Ralph Gasper, Carl Jonas, Clarence Rittersdorf and Everett Bowen.
