Mrs. Andres was born in Germany and came with her parents to this country when she was a girl of about 16 years old. Fifty-two years ago she was married to Thibaut Andres and they have resided continuously on the same farm in Keene township, well liked and respected by all. The funeral services were held from St. Mary Catholic church in Miriam, Wednesday morning, December 3, Rev. Fr. M. I. Kalaher, of Greenville, officiating and burial was in St. Mary cemetery in Miriam. Surviving are the husband three daughters, Mrs. Fred Faber, of Beal City; Mrs. Ben Lourain, of Ypsilanti, and Mrs. Julius Ritterstorf at Home. Two sons, John H. Andres, of Ionia, and Nick Andres, of Grand Rapids also survive, as do also a brother, Peter Andres, of Maple Grove and another brother, Casper Andres, of Germany.
