Sentinel-Standard - Friday, May 11, 1945

Charles W. Andres, 81, resident of Orleans township for many years, died at 
his farm home Thursday evening at 7:40 o'clock.

Born in Germany, Mr. Andres came to the United States when three years of 
age.

Surviving is a brother, E. F. Andres, of Stanwood and a daughter, Mrs. Roy 
Piper, who cared for him at his home.

Funeral services are to be conducted Sunday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock from 
the Bradley funeral home in Ionia. The Rev. Paul L. Stewart will officiate 
and burial will be at the Morley cemetery, south of Big Rapids.
