Andres, 81, route two, Belding, a resident of Keene and Easton townships for many years, died Sunday evening at an Ionia rest home. He was born in Saginaw county February 1, 1881, the son of Henry and Sarah Henige Andres. At the age of four he moved to Keene township with his parents, where he lived until he bought a farm in Easton township where he had since resided. In 1912 he married Margaret Hiebel of Dorr, who died in 1929. Mr. Andres is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Paul Letts and Mrs. Robert Brandyberry of Ionia, Mrs. Clarence Barasso and Mrs. Charles Koonze of California; two sons, Edwin Andres of Belding and Robert Andres of Ionia; 24 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four sisters, Julia Andres of Ada, sister M. Julia SSJ, and Louise Andres of Detroit, and Mrs. Anne Perry of California; a brother, Henry Andres of California. A son, Arnold died at the age of eight years. Funeral service will be held at St. Marys Catholic church at Miriam Wednesday at 10 a.m. Rosary will be recited at 8 o’clock Tuesday evening at Myers funeral home in Ionia. Burial will be at St. Marys church cemetery at Miriam. ---- Prayer service was held at Myers funeral home Wednesday morning for Peter I. Andres, 81, followed by Requiem Mass at St. Marys Catholic church in Miriam. Mr. Andres died Sunday evening. The Rev. Fr. C.E. Steves sang the mass and interment was at St. Marys church cemetery. Bearers were Arthur Scheid, Walter Scheid, Thomas Krieger, Charles Krieger, Larry Shindorf and John Ciganik. Attending from away were Sister M.
