Sentinel-Std. Thursday, June 16, 1936

John H. Andres, 60, died Wednesday evening at 9 o'clock at his home on Center 
street, after an illness of two years. He was born in Keene township near 
Belding, January 19, 1876. October 20,____, he married Cecilia Jacoby and they 
moved to Ionia. For twelve years he was employed at the Reed factory in Ionia.

Surviving are his widow, Cecilia; three children, Loretta, Hilda and Ernest all 
living at home; one brother Nicholas of Newaygo, three sisters Mrs. Mary Faber 
of Beal City, Mrs. Ben Lorain, of Ypsilanti; and Mrs. Julius Rettersdorf of 
Belding.

Funeral services will be held Saturday morning, June 30 at 9 o'clock from the 
SS Peter and Paul church. Rev. Fr. ____ will officiate and interment will be at 
Mt. Olivet.
