Portland Observer, 3 Nov 1880

Died – At her home in this township, on the 29th of Oct. last, of inflammation 
of the lungs, Mrs. Amret Andrews, aged 74 years, 11 months and 9 days.  Mrs. 
Andrews was among the early settlers of this township, and a brief history of 
her life is promised us for our next issue.

The Rev. Mr. Millard, of Jackson, is in this village, having come here at 
attend the funeral of his mother-in-law, Mrs. Andrews.
