Portland Observer – Thursday, 20 November 1919
The body of Mrs. Cordelia Andrews is expected to arrive in Portland this 
afternoon from Petoskey, for burial in the Danby township cemetery, Mrs. 
Andrews having been a resident of that township until 18790 when she moved 
from there to Elwell, Gratiot County.  Her death occurred suddenly last Sunday 
at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Alta Barnes, in Petoskey.  She was 65 years of 
age.  Mrs. Victor L. Derby, of Otsego, a former resident of Portland, is a 
daughter of deceased and is accompanying the remains to Portland today.
