Lake Odessa Wave
   SERVICES HELD FOR CHARLES ANDREWS SAT.
  Funeral services were held Sat. at 2 p.m. for Charles T. Andrews 74 of Ionia at
the 1st Christian Church, burial in Lakeside cemetery.  He passed away Tuesday at 
his home after several months illness.
  Mr. Andrews spent his early life at Charlotte and after his marriage to Clarice
Goodemoot of West Sebewa lived on a farm in Orange township until 1925 when the farm 
was sold and they moved to Ionia.  A former employee at the Michigan Reformatory for 
four years, the Ionia County Road Commission and 18 years at the Ionia State Hospital 
before he retired in 1954.
  The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary December 28, 1958 at a
celebration at the First Christian church in Ionia.
  Surviving are his wife;  four daughters;  one brother; a half sister and grand and
great grand children.
  Rev. Floyd Emshwiller  officiated.
