Dorothy M. Andrews, age 82, of Ionia, passed away October 31, 2006 in Ionia. 
She was born December 17, 1923 in Butternut, the daughter of Fred and Eva 
(Hopkins) Minikey.   Dorothy married Raymond Andrews December 20, 1942. He 
preceded her in death in 1990.

She enjoyed many crafts over the years including ceramics, sewing, painting, 
knitting, and wood crafts. She worked for Chrysler in the Trim Plant until 
1983.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Michael and Deb Andrews of Orleans, 
Pamela and George Drummond of Ionia, Kristine Yates of Lansing, Stuart and 
Terrie Andrews of Ionia, Deborah and Terry Blundy of Lake Odessa; brother, 
Lyle and Norma Minikey of Sheridan; sister, Ruth and Lee Woodbury of Orleans, 
9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her 
daughter, Evelyn Wilder; brother, Donald Minikey; sisters, Opal Wilson and 
Helen Hagen.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia 
with Rev. Bert Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends and 
relatives Friday 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Anyone wishing may make 
memorial contributions in Dorothy's name to Ionia Area Hospice or Alzheimer's.
