Ionia Standard, 3 Apr 1908

Chas. Annable was taken to the county house Saturday, and died there Mon. night.
 He was taken with grip recently, and being old and feeble, he did not have
reserve force to rally.  His age was 76.  he was single and had no relatives
here.  He was a 49-er, and is said to have brought back $40,000, on which he
lived at ease for many years, but which is long since gone, leaving him dependent.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in the County Farm Cemetery.  His surname is listed as “Anible” in the
cemetery records.  It is listed as “Aniball” and indexed as “Amball” on the
Seeking Michigan web site.]
