Ionia Sentinel Standard, 2002

Grace Ankney, 88, of Ionia, passed away Friday, Feb. 8, 2002, in Mecosta.  She 
was born Oct. 4, 1913, in Burlington, the daughter of Fred and Maude (Sharpe) 
Richfield.

She is survived by her son Robert (Sandra) Yost of Ionia, daughter Dawn 
(Charles) Jenkins of Mecosta; son-in-law David Noneman; nine grandchildren and 
14 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Leslie Yost, in 1954; her 
second husband Robert Ankney in 2000; and daughter Kay in 1972.

Visitation is 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.  In 
lieu of flowers the family asks donations to be sent to Ionia Area Hospice.  
Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
