Ionia County News-Thurs. June 25, 1959

MRS. CATHERINE M. ANNIS
Mrs. Catherine M. Annis, 77, died Wednesday, June 17, at the home of her daughter,
Mrs. 
Wallace J Perrien, of 764 North Jefferson Street, Ionia. She had been ill about one
year.
Born December 1, 1881, at Piqua, Ohio, she was the daughter of Henry Meyers and
Lucia 
Coles. In 1907 she was married to William Annis who preceded her in death on January
23, 
1951.
Mrs. Annis and her husband came to Ionia in 1941 from Grattan.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Wallace J. Perrien and two grand-children of Ionia.
Funeral service was held Saturday, June 20, at the Myers Funeral Home with the 
Rev.Rogers Wright of Belding officiating. Interment was in River Ridge Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Byron Flinn, Milton Stilwell, Bert Bailey, and Charles Perrien.
