Antcliff, 59, of Saranac passed away Oct. 31, 2000 at his home. He was born the son of Arthur and Nina Antcliff on July 3, 1941. He married the former Merleta Burns on June 8, 1962. Clint owned and operated Clint’s Garage in Saranac for 30 years. He was an active member of the Ionia Fishing and Hunting Club, Pheasants Forever and in recent years the Relay for Life Cancer Walk. He went to talk to local cancer patients and to those who had a laryngectomy operation. Surviving are his wife, Merleta; two daughters, Linda Rossell of Saranac, Joy (Harvey) Noon of Saranac; his honorary sons, Burt, Paul and Stanley; three grandchildren, Larissa, Heather and Dylan; his mother, Nina Jenson of Six Lakes; six brothers and five sisters; three special sisters-in-law, Lee Listerman of Ionia, Shirley Rusnell of Ionia and Pat Burns of Orleans. He was preceded in death by his father, one brother, one brother-in-law and his niece. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday from the Easton United Methodist Church with Rev. Judy Downing and Rev. Kenneth Harger officiating. Interment in Easton Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Rich Street Chapel of Cook Funeral Home in Ionia.
