The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Monday, April 1, 1940


Funeral services for Miss Esther Antcliff, who died Friday, March 29, in Howell 
sanitorium following a long illness, were held Monday morning, April 1, from 
the SS Peter and Paul church at 9 o’clock.  Rev. Fr. Thomas O. Martin 
officiated.  Interment was in Mt. Olivet cemetery.  Services were held at the 
home of her aunt, Miss Katherine Quirk, of Ionia at 8:30 Monday morning.

Bearers were Charles Kelly, Robert Beahan, William Powell and Fred Gierman.

Relatives from out of the city attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Albert 
Taylor and Mrs. A. Squires of Flint, Mrs. Pearl Eckmeter and daughter of 
Portland, Mr. and Mrs. James Byrne and Mrs. John Duffy and son, all of Lansing.
