         ANTES

Rita Kay Antes, age 80, of Ionia, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024. Shew 
was born on March 22, 1944, the daughter of Carl and Evelyn (Chapman) Johnson in 
Ionia.

Rita enjoyed watching game shows, playing solitaire, playing cards with her 
sisters, and spending time with her grandchildren.  

She is survived by her children, Mary Lou (Eric) Pitchford of Ionia, Jack Antes 
of Texas and Kathyjo (Rob) Martin of Texas; grandchildren, Maria(Rob 
Montgomery)Pitchford, Erika Pitchford, Chelsea Lestourgeon, Carl Lestourgeon, 
Conrad Louks, Jack Antes, Ashli Antes, Kaci Antes and Connor Antes; and great 
grandchildren, Braxton, Brighton, Briley, Ivy and Graviy.

Rita was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Gale Antes and Eugene Antes 
and siblings,Joyce Johnson,Patricia Heilman, Rhoda Perkins, May Johnson, Eugene 
Chapman, William Chapman and Richard Johnson.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
