EXCERPTS FROM OBITUARY:

Clara Josephine Anway died Thursday Mary 18, 1909, age 61

Born in Phelps Ontario county, New York on March 27, 1847

Mother died in childbirth
Raised by her sister, Mrs. Amanda Snook of Saranac
Married Samuel Benson Anway on October 18, 1887
Lived in Odessa until March 27, 1885 then moved to Ingham township
Ten children

Survived by her husband, one sister, Mrs. Amanda Snook of Saranac,; six sons, 
Charles and Roy of Los Angeles Calif., Edwine of New Mexico, Leonard of Lake 
Odessa and Clarence and Adelbert of Ingham and two daughters, Miss Ilah and 
Mrs. Ioma Hulliberger of Ingham
