August 6,1915 PIONEER OF WEST ODESSA IS DEAD Answers Last Call Wednesday Morning, With All His Children at Bedside-Funeral Sunday at One p.m. Alanson Anway one of the West Odessa pioneer residents and a prominent character in this section, passed away at his home Wednesday morning at three o'clock. The end came peacefully, after a long illness, with all his children gathered about his bedside. The funeral will be held Sunday afternoon at two o'clock at the U.B. church here. Rev. I.H.Mourer will preach the sermon, and interment will be made in Lakeside cemetery. Mr.Anway is survived by his widow, and two sons, Ora of Lansing and Ed. of West Odessa, and a daughter Mrs.Earl Curtis, of Ionia.
