Ionia Daily Sentinel – 7 October 1963
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 Tuesday afternoon at Myers funeral home 
for Alvin Apsey, 91, who died at 524 North Jefferson Street Sunday at 4:45 
pm.  A retired farmer, he was born August 30, 1872 at Cascade.  He is survived 
by one sister, Mrs. Austin Scheidel of Marne. Rev. A. R. Kuehn will officiate 
and burial will be in the family lot at Tuttle cemetery.
