Allen Archer, son of Mr.and mrs.Geo. W.Archer, was born in Campbell in 1885 and died Thursday, Nov. 21, 1907, having resided in the village for the past eight years, excepting times when he was away at work. He was a young man of good habits, industrious and of a retiring nature. Nearly a year ago he became converted to the Christian faith, and during his last illness he has shown remarkable Christian fortitude, often expressing a wish and at times begging that he might be allowed to die. He leaves his mother, Mr.Mary Archer (his father having died nearly a year ago) three sisters-Mrs.Ed Townsend, Mrs.Frank Gleason, Mrs.Nelson Trumpower-and two small brothers. A short service was held at the house at one o'clock Sunday, the funeral being held at the U.B. church at 2 o'clock.
