Lake O. Wave-Times - Jan. 6, 1922

Ivan Theodore, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dan Archer, was born in Lake Odessa, Mich., 
June 18, 1919, and departed this life Dec. 31, 1921, at the age of two years, 
six months and 12 days, after suffering a little more than two weeks from blood 
poisoning and pneumonia he was relieved of his suffering and went home to be 
with Jesus.

He leaves a father and mother, a brother, Glendon, aged four years, who will 
greatly miss him, two grandmothers, a grandfather, a great grandmother and a 
host of relatives and friends to mourn his loss. 

The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at his home, Rev. I. H. Mourer 
officiating. Burial was made in Lake Side Cemetery.


Dearest Ivan how we'll miss you,
   How we'll miss you none can tell,
But we know dear Jesus
   That thou dost all things well.
May we all so live to meet him up in
   Heaven
When the Pearly Gates swing open. 
May we meet him there.

his kind words, and the beautiful floral offering shown us in the sickness, 
death and burial of our darling, Ivan.
