Ionia Sentinel Standard, 17 Jul 1995

Geraldine Mae (Patow) Arnel, 70, of Ionia, died Saturday evening at a Nursing
Home in Berrian Springs, Michigan.  She was born Aug. 24, 1924 in Grand Rapids,
the daughter of Herman and Berneice (Durham) Patow.  She was a graduate of
Creston High School in Grand Rapids.  She waitressed in many Ionia restaurants.

Surviving are three daughters: Nancy Baldwin, of Ionia, Judith (Duane) Smith, of
Ionia, and Jackie (Mark) Sutherby, of Coopersville, Mich.; brother Lyle (Betty)
Patow, of Florida, sister Carol (Robert) Arndt, of Alabama, 9 grandchildren and
12 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services are Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Easton Cemetery with Rev. Marvis
Hale of Grace Baptist Church officiating.  There will be no funeral home
visitation.  Arrangements have been made by Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir.
