Was active member of Portland First Congregational Church as Deacon, in choir, the Guild, Bible Study, Pulpit Search Committee. Member of T. R. W. Enjoyed Gardening, traveling, boating, crocheting, Music, and Holiday cooking. Preceded in death are her husband, H. Norman Arnesen; parents; brothers, Alfred and Gordon Brandsen; Sister; Jeanette Hoort; brothers-in-law, August Hoort and Vaughn Baxter; sister-in-law, Helen Brandsen; daughter-in-law, Kitty Arnesen. Survived by sons; Ron (Jennie Stambaugh), Loren (Myra) and Wayne (Christien) Arnesen; sister, Harriet Baxter; sister-in-law, Ruth VanHouten; 8 grandchildren and two step-grandchildren, Ron, Roger, Katrina Annette, Heather, Betsy, Angie, Nicole, Pete, and Ann; 22 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren. Thank you to the staff at Walnut Grove AFC, Sparrow Hospice and the Congregational Church for wonderful care of Pauline. Funeral service by Rev. Dr. Marilyn V. Danielson at 11 a.m Saturday, January 27, 2019 at Portland First Congregational Church. Family will receive friend at the church from 10 a.m. until the service. A luncheon will follow immediately at the fellowship hall. Interment will be at East Sebewa cemetery.
