Carolyn J. “Carol” Arnett, 70, of Belding passed away Saturday evening at home
under the loving care of her family and Ionia Area Hospice.  Carol was born on
Oct. 18, 1944, in Pewamo, the daughter of Arlo and Christine (Clark) Ritenburg.
 She had worked at the Chrysler Trim Plant in Lyons and at General Tire in
Ionia.  In earlier years she was active in Union Local 436, helping with many
union activities and events.  Carol enjoyed going to the casino, doing word find
puzzles, spending time with her cats and most of all being with her family.  She
will be greatly missed.

Carol was married on Sept. 20, 1980, in Harvard to Gerald “Jerry” Arnett. Carol
is loved and survived by her husband, Jerry and her children; Michael and Tammy
Bennett of Stanton, Bobby (Sonya) Tribble of Georgia, Cammie and Mike Armock of
Sheridan, her grandchildren; Matthew (Robin) Bennett, Tim Bennett, Caleb
Bennett, Joshua Bennett, Jared Bennett, Alisha (Richard) Warner, Bobby Tribble
Jr., Kristina Tribble, Jared Tribble, her great grandchildren; Marshall, Levi,
Colton and a sister and brother in law; Rachel and Don Richardson of Florida.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents.  In keeping with family wishes
cremation has taken place.  A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at
Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. 
The family will greet relatives and friends one hour before the service.  Burial
will take place in the spring in River Ridge Cemetery, Belding.  Memorials may
be given to the B Foundation.
